Workers United Union Endorses Mary Lupien

Workers United is proud to Endorse Mary Lupien for the next Mayor of Rochester! Mary has been a steadfast supporter of our union and its workers and a champion for our values during her time on City Council.

Workers United is a diverse, progressive union with more than 9,500 active and retired members in upstate New York. They support workers in the food service and retail as well as factories and warehouses in organizing their workplace to bring improved wages, benefits, and working conditions.

When workers join together in a union, they gain dignity, a voice on the job, and a seat at the table. Unions provide a level playing field where workers can negotiate with management as equals. Workers United’s mission is to help workers in any workplace, large or small, to gain collective bargaining rights- providing education, assistance, and support to grown the labor movement to achieve economic and racial equity in our communties.
